Assisteens is a youth auxiliary of Assistance League of the Foothill Communities. Assisteens provides volunteer opportunities for young people in grades 7 through 12. The goals are to develop a sense of community responsibility, self-reliance, personal responsibility, poise, public speaking, leadership skills and support the Assistance League adult chapter. Assisteens participate in philanthropic program services that benefit their community and help raise money in a variety of ways to help fund ongoing Assistance League and Assisteens philanthropic programs.
