PHILANTHROPIC PROGRAMS

Assistance League of the Foothill Communities is proud of our legacy of caring and commitment in action serving the communities of Ontario, Montclair, Upland, Rancho Cucamonga, Alta Loma, Etiwanda and portions of Fontana. Funds to support the chapter’s philanthropic programs are raised through our Thrift Shop; an annual holiday fundraiser; direct mail appeals; gifts and grants. Funds benefit individuals in need in our local communities.  Below are some of our programs.

Operation School Bell®

We dress students in grades TK through high school in new school clothes. We serve 95 schools in 8 local school districts.

Al Bear

Local hospitals and first responders receive new teddy bears from us to help provide comfort to children in traumatic situations.

Fostering New Beginnings

Through this program, we help young adults as they transition in and from foster care to independent living.

Waste Not

We donate unsold, gently used clothing, shoes and other items from our Thrift Shop to organizations that help the people in need.

WeCare

This philanthropic program is managed by our Assisteens® Auxiliary. They provide assistance to local families and senior citizens.

Assistance League of the Foothill Communities Thrift Shop

To support our philanthropic programs,  Assistance League of the Foothill Communities owns and operates a Thrift Shop staffed by our member volunteers.

We invite you to visit our bright and modern thrift shop!  We are proud of our reputation as one of the best and friendliest thrift shops in Rancho Cucamonga. Our thrift shop has been voted “Best Thrift Shop” in Rancho Cucamonga 3 years in a row. Our merchandise is always good quality, clean, and priced fairly.  Come see for yourself!
